Raw Poster Collection

Solving problems often necessitates a deconstruction of your ideas. You need time to abstract what we mean to explore—trim away fat to arrive at the gem of an idea. This process reveals a simple truth: the best solutions come from places of simple intuition and gut feeling.

This weekend workshop with Allan Yu was a gauntlet of timed five-to-ten minute image-making for over five hours straight, two days in a row. The method compelled inspiration from every fiber of being. This was a space where design rules were meant to be both tested and broken. Through this workshop, I rediscovered a forgotten love for raw aesthetic and chasing after happy accidents. The following posters are some of my favorites from a massive collection that convey an abstract sense of what my visual instinct looks like.
